Hobbies

1.  What are some of your hobbies?
I have a couple of hobbies… I’m into playing basketball, soccer and going jogging. I’ve been playing basketball and soccer ever since high school and represented my school on many occasions…I won various championships back to back. These days, I’ve been jogging in the park, which gives me a breath of fresh air.

2.  How much time do you spend on your hobby?
I used to spend lots of time on basketball and soccer but now it’s a whole different story. I’ve gained a few pounds and my bulging belly a little. I’d say I hardly play basketball and soccer these days... But I go for a jog once or twice a week for a good 40 minutes in the park… I get drenched with sweat after jogging.

3.  What are some advantages of having a hobby?
I guess there are lots of advantages of having a hobby. Sometimes, they let you unwind from all the stress you get throughout the day and enable you to find your hidden talent. That’s how I found out I was a pro basketball player!

4.  What do you usually do when you go out?
Well, that really depends on who I go out with, but usually I go to the cinema, have a few drinks, and go to a club. I really enjoy partying when I’m out.

5.  Where do you usually get the news from?
I tend to rely on the internet to get informed, because it’s the most convenient and quickest way to get information. Plus it’s free to read articles on the internet. So, as long as I have access to the internet, I usually use the internet to get the latest news.

6.  Do you think reading books is important?
Yes, I believe reading is very important, because reading books enables you to learn knowledge that you can’t learn at schools. On top of that, reading books is the most effective way to deepen your knowledge and understanding of life. So I guess everyone, especially young people, should read books as much as possible.
