The first thing that came to mind was my laptop, so I’ve chosen to talk about that.

It’s an old model so it’s fairly chunky, but it’s not too weighty. It’s fairly smooth and durable – I mean, I’ve been using it for a long time. And… It’s turquoise, which is one of my favourite colours.

I use it for many different things – not only academic stuff like writing essays and drafting presentations, but also personal things such as logging onto social networks and reading online newspaper articles. I’m a bit of a film buff, so I also use it to watch movies. For example, last week, it was quite balmy in the evening, so me and my friends sat on my rooftop watching Mrs. Doubtfire and eating pizza.

Well, because it serves so many purposes, I use it all the time. I don’t really use my computer when I’m on the move because it’s too cumbersome – instead I use my Smartphone. But in the evening, sometimes I work on my laptop in a library or a café which has a reliable wifi connection.

So all in all it’s very handy.
