1. Do you live in a house or flat? Do you like it?

I live in an apartment on the third floor of a twenty-storey building. I like it there because it’s convenient… I mean, it has several handy facilities like shopping areas, a public library, parks and good transport links. Also, there’s a security guard 24 hours a day, so it’s very safe.

2. Which part do you like most in your house or flat?

My favorite place in my apartment is the rooftop garden because I can grow small plants and vegetables there, and in the evening when the sun goes down, I can relax with a great night view of the city. It’s so relaxing and peaceful. As most apartments don’t have a garden or backyard, having this kind of place is very lucky.

3. What are there on the walls of your house or flat?

Actually, since my house is small, there aren’t many walls! But in the living room a big framed photo of my family is hung on the wall... Um, some paintings are also hung on the other walls. But I prefer to display pictures framed photographs on the table rather than to hang them.

4. What can you see through your window?

Through the big, wide window in the living room, I can see a small forest, because my house is near the woods… I love looking at the scenery of the forest – it’s so beautiful and relaxing. And… through the window in my room, I can also see buildings and the streets of the town. It’s a great view.

5. What types of chores did you do as a child?

When I was young, my parents used to scold me a lot because I hardly did any chores. Um, my brother and I were in charge of mowing the lawn, although we always gave excuses not to do it like saying we had an assignment due in the next day.

6. What do you like or dislike about your home?

I really like my home because it’s very close to the subway. Also, my apartment has plenty of exercise facilities nearby such as gyms, tennis and basketball courts so I always have something to do. That said, the main disadvantage is that I have to share lots of things with the neighbours, and sometimes noise from upstairs and next door annoys me a lot.

7. Is there anything you’d like to improve about your home?

To be honest, I think my house is perfect as it is at the moment. But, if I really had to think about one aspect, it would be the size. I mean, I’ve always dreamed of having a huge house with a wide variety of rooms such as a dressing room, a music room, and a games room.
