Environment protection is very important today. In order to have a beautiful environment, not only governments, but also all the citizens should work together.

It is governments’ responsibility to make environment protecting policies. Governments should spend a lot of money on major projects such as those for the protection of the Yangtze River and the Yellow River.

It is also governments’ responsibility to survey the environment conditions. A lot of pollution comes from the factories and governments should survey their working conditions regularly. If a factory discharges waste water or waste gas illegally, the government should punish it severely.

In the meantime, individuals shall also take part in the action to protect our environment. We share this world and it is our duty to protect our earth. First of all, we should have the consciousness to protect the environment. We should do it in our daily life such as telling our children that a comfortable life depends on the protection of environment.

Secondly, we should start from what we do daily. We should not waste water, we should not smoke too much and we should not put rubbish in street corners.

The society consists of individuals. If everyone cares our environment and does his best to protect it, we should have a blue sky and clean air.
